Discovering Poznań Zoo 

Founded in 1974, Poznań Zoo stands as the second-largest zoological garden in Poland, nestled in the lush greenery of Biała Góra. This Majówka, Poznań Zoo invites visitors to embark on a journey of discovery through a series of engaging encounters and educational sessions. From April 27th to May 5th, the zoo will host a total of 99 events focusing on its resident animals. These include feeding sessions, informative talks, and guided tours, offering visitors a deeper insight into the lives of the zoo’s inhabitants.

Engaging Experiences 

Throughout the Majówka period, visitors can partake in a variety of activities tailored to both entertainment and education. From feeding rescued foxes to observing majestic lions, each experience is designed to foster a greater appreciation for wildlife and conservation efforts. Additionally, special thematic tours, such as the Senior Citizens Day excursion on May 2nd, provide an opportunity for visitors of all ages to connect with nature.

Meetings Schedule:

  • 9.30 – rescued foxes from fur farms (feeding)
  • 10.00 – tigers (feeding, except Sundays)
  • 10.30 – red-bellied lemurs and other lemur species (feeding)
  • 11.30 – lions (feeding, except Sundays)
  • 12.00 – flamingos (no feeding)
  • 13.00 – Baloo (with feeding)
  • 13.30 – meerkats (with feeding)
  • 14.00 – giant anteaters and tree anteaters (tamanduas) (with feeding)
  • 15.00 – Pallas’s cats (no feeding)
  • 15.30 – camels (with feeding)
  • 16.00 – elephants (no feeding).

Poznań Zoo is open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, offering ample opportunities for visitors to explore its diverse attractions. Additionally, the zoo offers educational lessons on-site, providing a unique learning experience for school groups and enthusiasts alike.
