Cały Poznań Ukulele 2026 is coming back to Plac Wolności for four days of concerts, workshops, shared singing and open-air music. This summer festival is small in instrument, but big in atmosphere. From 4 to 7 June 2026, Poznań will once again turn into Poland’s ukulele capital — this time for the 10th and final edition of the event.
A Small Instrument with a Big Poznań Story
Cały Poznań Ukulele 2026 is not just another summer festival on the city calendar. Since 2017, Poznań has built a strong identity around this friendly, accessible instrument, turning the ukulele into a reason for people of different ages and backgrounds to meet in the city centre. The festival has grown into what organisers and partners describe as the largest free ukulele festival in Europe, with concerts, educational activities and community playing at its core.
Key Dates and Locations
The calendar for Cały Poznań Ukulele 2026 is clear: the event runs from Thursday, 4 June to Sunday, 7 June 2026. The main festival town will again be built at Plac Wolności, while selected events will also take place at Stary Rynek and Muzyka na Nowo at ul. Nowowiejskiego 15. This gives the summer festival a natural city route , from a club evening, through the Old Market Square, to the open-air heart of the programme at Plac Wolności.
Thursday: Aloha Tej at Muzyka na Nowo
Cały Poznań Ukulele 2026 opens on Thursday evening at Muzyka na Nowo with the “Aloha Tej” evening. The programme starts at 19:00 with Mariusz Tobolski and stand-up with ukulele, followed by “How 2 Become a Ukulele Star” with Konczal, Prof. Śledź, and a Collab Session described simply as something where “no one knows what will happen.” It is a fitting start for a summer festival built on humour, looseness and musical surprise.
Friday: Plac Wolności Starts Singing
On Friday, Cały Poznań Ukulele 2026 moves strongly into public space. Plac Wolności opens the evening programme at 17:55 with “Aloha Tej!”, followed by shared playing and singing with Belmuza, Orzeuek and Wujek Skarpetka. Later, the stage will feature Prof. Śledź with Swarzędzka Orkiestra Flażoletowa, Granko z Ranko, Gabi & Kamil Marszał, Ronja Maltzahn with Federico Marina, and Biga Heincz with Tom Kontor. The summer festival continues late at Muzyka na Nowo with Sancho y Diego at 22:30.

Workshops, Free Playing and Ukulele Help
Cały Poznań Ukulele 2026 is also a practical summer festival for people who want to try the instrument, not only listen to it. The workshop programme includes first steps with the ukulele, intermediate classes, fingerpicking, rhythm for blues, help with stage fright, Italian songs and bass ukulele. There will also be a Meinl Park free play zone on Saturday and Sunday, plus the Ukulele Clinic with UkuBus, Tomek Grdeń and Marek Gordziej, where visitors can ask questions and get closer to the instrument.

Sunday: A Warm Goodbye
Sunday brings the final chapter of Cały Poznań Ukulele 2026 at Plac Wolności. The day begins at 13:00 with “Niedziele z Ukulele” and shared playing, then continues with Ukubanda, Ukulele Orchestra of Vienna, Collab Session, SeniorUki, Ranko, Ukulelove Łejery, Avei Varu with Hinatea and “Uku w Operze.” The main programme ends with “Time 2 Say Goodbye” at 18:30, followed by Uku’ Family with Dead Mans Uke and Friends at Muzyka na Nowo. For the last edition of this summer festival, the farewell is clearly part of the programme.
A Festival for Everyone
What makes Cały Poznań Ukulele 2026 stand out is its open character. The event is free and designed for children, young people, seniors and whole families, combining artistic, performative and educational elements. The final edition will also include artists from Poland and abroad, while local projects such as SeniorUki and Ukulelove Łejery show how strongly the festival is connected with Poznań’s own community. For a summer festival in the middle of the city, that mix of international energy and local warmth is exactly the point.
Why It Matters This Year
Cały Poznań Ukulele 2026 carries extra meaning because it is announced as the 10th and final edition. Over the years, the festival has shown that a public cultural event does not need to be expensive, formal or difficult to access to have real value. It can be joyful, open, educational and still musically rich. For anyone planning early June in Poznań, this summer festival is one of the easiest recommendations on the calendar: come to Plac Wolności, listen for a while, sing if you want, and enjoy one last ukulele weekend in the city.
