This summer’s most spectacular historical show has landed in Murowana Goślina. “Orzeł i Krzyż” (Eagle and Cross) spans 1,000 years of Polish history, featuring over 300 volunteer actors, dazzling lights, projections, pyrotechnics—and a staropolska biesiada (Old Polish feast) before each performance. With tickets already in high demand, this is one cultural experience you won’t want to miss.
A Monumental Season Launch
The Orzeł i Krzyż 2025 season officially kicked off across two premiere nights—June 20–21—with more than 4,000 spectators from cities like Poznań, Gdynia, Wrocław, and Zamość gathered beneath the floodlit sky.
Aleteia reported that:
over four thousand people filled the stands… not a mere reenactment, but a journey through our homeland’s history told through visuals, music, and passionate volunteer performances.
Park Dzieje’s (Park of Histories) Marta Mleczko, director of the Cultural Centre, reflected:
Each premiere is deeply moving… that’s when all our collective work truly makes sense.
What is Orzeł i Krzyż 2025?
This grand nocturnal production unfolds across 44,000 m² of open-air terrain at Park Dzieje, portraying pivotal moments from the dawn of the Piast dynasty, through the baptism of Poland, the glory of the Hussars, the Swedish Deluge, key royal coronations, WWII’s 80th-anniversary reflection, and the resilience of Solidarity.
- Cast & technical scale: Over 350 volunteer actors portraying more than 1,500 historical figures, supported by stunning light displays, water projection mapping, modern multimedia, and pyrotechnics.
- Duration: Approximately 90 minutes under the night sky, commencing each Friday and Saturday at 21:30, from June 20 to July 26, 2025.
- Seating: Newly constructed grandstand with numbered seating in categories A, B, or C—with tiered vantage viewpoints for all perspectives.
Enchanting Biesiada Before the Show

Sit under a recreated szlachecki dworek (noble manor), savor warm kapuśniak (cabbage soup) and roast chicken, and join in singing, dancing (kujawiak, ober, Lwów street tunes), and interactive festivities.
