New Coach: Piotr Jacek Takes the Helm
Warta Poznań has appointed Piotr Jacek as the new head coach. Jacek is well-known in Poznań, having begun his football career with SKS 13 Poznań and later playing for Lech Poznań. His coaching career includes stints at Miedź Legnica, Zagłębie Lubin, and most recently, managing the reserves of Legia Warsaw. His mission at Warta is to build a competitive team capable of vying for promotion back to the Ekstraklasa.

Latest Addition: Filip Waluś Joins the Team
The latest addition to the team is the talented 19-year-old midfielder Filip Waluś. Waluś has signed a two-year contract with an option to extend for an additional two years. He began his football journey with Siódemka Tychy and later played for Rozwój Katowice and Rekord Bielsko-Biała. His senior career kicked off at Rekord Bielsko-Biała, where he made a significant impact in the 2020/21 season by playing in the III liga at just 16 years old. Over the years, he has become a pivotal player for Rekord, evidenced by his impressive statistics from the previous season—8 goals and 8 assists in 34 matches.
Waluś is the second summer signing for Warta, following the acquisition of Jurij Tkaczuk from Znicz Pruszków.
