Every FineDiningWeek menu tells a different story. At American Dream Club, Chef Anton Sherstiuk has created two exclusive tasting experiences that combine seasonal ingredients with flavours inspired by personal memories.
Located in the heart of Poznań, American Dream Club is more than a restaurant. Combining contemporary dining, a cocktail bar and live music under one roof, it has become one of the city’s more distinctive hospitality venues, where the atmosphere is as carefully considered as the menu.
Walking through its doors, guests are met by elegant interiors, warm lighting and a striking piano that immediately becomes the room’s focal point. The space evokes a contemporary interpretation of the glamour associated with the 1920s while maintaining a modern identity of its own. Throughout the evening, the ambience becomes part of the experience, complementing rather than competing with what arrives on the plate.

That balance between atmosphere and gastronomy made the venue a fitting choice to host FineDiningWeek’s recent media preview, where invited media representatives were introduced to both of the restaurant’s exclusive festival menus. Like every participating venue, American Dream Club has created two tasting experiences available only for the duration of FineDiningWeek, offering diners a choice between two distinct culinary journeys.
Chef Anton Sherstiuk’s Personal Interpretation

Leading the kitchen is Ukrainian chef Anton Sherstiuk, whose culinary career spans around a decade. For this year’s FineDiningWeek, he developed two menus that showcase technical refinement while remaining approachable through familiar flavours and carefully balanced ingredients.
Rather than relying on elaborate techniques alone, the chef’s approach allows each ingredient to speak for itself. Some of the dishes also carry a personal connection. The dessert Bajaderka, for example, draws inspiration from one of Chef Sherstiuk’s favourite childhood culinary memories, bringing a nostalgic element into an otherwise contemporary tasting experience.
During the preview, we had the opportunity to experience both festival menus. Without giving away every surprise awaiting diners, several dishes left a lasting impression. A seasonal asparagus starter, paired with brown butter, pistachios and basil-orange sauce, celebrated fresh produce through restrained, well-balanced flavours, while the salmon served with parsnip purée and beurre blanc demonstrated the elegance that can be achieved through simplicity and precision.
Rather than competing for attention, each course felt carefully placed within the progression of the tasting experience, reflecting the philosophy that defines FineDiningWeek itself. Every participating restaurant has created two exclusive menus, encouraging guests to discover dishes that exist only for the duration of the festival.
More Than a Festival Menu
One of FineDiningWeek’s defining characteristics is that every participating restaurant develops two exclusive menus available only for the festival. Rather than extending their regular offerings, chefs are encouraged to experiment, introduce new ideas and create dishes that exist for a limited time.
At American Dream Club, those temporary menus are enhanced by the venue itself. The combination of live music, carefully designed interiors and attentive hospitality creates an experience where the surroundings become part of the evening, reinforcing the progression of each tasting menu without overshadowing it.
That balance between atmosphere and cuisine reflects what makes FineDiningWeek increasingly significant for Poznań’s restaurant scene. Beyond introducing diners to new flavours, it provides chefs with an opportunity to showcase their creativity in ways that extend beyond their everyday menus.

American Dream Club demonstrates that FineDiningWeek is about far more than exclusive dishes. Through Chef Anton Sherstiuk’s two tasting experiences, the restaurant offers a glimpse into the creativity, craftsmanship and personal inspiration that continue to shape Poznań’s evolving culinary scene. With the festival running until 13 August, there is still time to discover these limited-time menus before they become part of this year’s FineDiningWeek story.
