A new romantic comedy is bringing an international production to Poland, with filmmakers now looking to Poznań for English-speaking actors.
California-based independent production companies Madicus Production and Hoosier Daddy Films are joining forces on Finding You, Finding Me, a new English-language feature film that will be filmed entirely on location in Poland.
The film is being developed by J. T. Madicus and Pat Battistini, bringing together experience from both the American and European independent film scenes.
Madicus is an entrepreneur, author and filmmaker whose previous work includes Final Diagnosis, a medical thriller filmed in Los Angeles and Poland. Battistini, a writer, director and producer with more than 30 years of entertainment industry experience, leads California-based Hoosier Daddy Films.
A love story across Poland
Finding You, Finding Me follows a widowed American who sets out across Poland to find a woman he never forgot after a missed connection decades earlier.
The story will move through Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków and Gdańsk, with each city playing a distinct role in the journey rather than simply providing a backdrop.
Now the production is looking for English-speaking actors aged 18–60, particularly those based in Poznań.
Actors from other cities are also welcome to apply, provided they can attend a live casting in Poznań if selected.
How to apply
This is a paid acting role.
To be considered, applicants should send:
📸 A recent headshot
🎥 A short video saying: “I want to be in your movie Finding You, Finding Me. I am smart, talented and funny, and I speak English.”
Applications should be sent to casting@sowafilms.com by 30 September 2026.
More information is available at www.findingyoufindingme.com.
For actors in Poznań, this is an opportunity to put themselves forward for an international feature film that will tell its story across several Polish cities.
