Poznań’s thriving culinary scene takes centre stage this summer as FineDiningWeek® returns from 1 July to 13 August 2026, inviting diners to experience specially created tasting menus at some of the city’s most celebrated restaurants.
Now in its tenth year, the nationwide festival has become one of Poland’s premier culinary events, connecting diners with outstanding restaurants through exclusive menus designed especially for the occasion. This year’s edition, themed #MistrzowskieMomenty (Masterful Moments), offers guests the opportunity to enjoy exceptional cuisine at a fixed festival price while discovering the creativity and craftsmanship behind some of the country’s finest kitchens.
Among the participating venues are several of Poznań’s most respected restaurants, including Michelin-recognised establishments and innovative independent dining destinations that continue to strengthen the city’s reputation as one of Poland’s leading food capitals.
Fromażeria: Michelin-Recognised Excellence
Located on ul. Ratajczaka, Fromażeria has built an outstanding reputation over more than two decades, becoming Poland’s first restaurant to combine fine dining with a dedicated cheese bar.
Awarded the prestigious Bib Gourmand distinction by the Michelin Guide, the restaurant is renowned for celebrating exceptional cheeses, carefully selected wines and refined European cuisine.
Chef Dawid Ankowski has created two exclusive festival menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and technical precision.
Highlights include:
- Beef tartare with trout roe and Parmigiano Reggiano
- Handmade fettuccine with Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino Sardo DOP and black truffle
- Lamb loin with cherries and broad beans
Guests choosing the alternative menu can enjoy elegant seafood dishes featuring scallops, bisque and Bleu d’Auvergne cheese, followed by stone bass accompanied by sweetcorn and fennel.
The experience concludes with buttermilk ice cream, blackberries and handcrafted pralines.

The Time: Contemporary Fine Dining in the City Centre
Another Michelin-recommended venue participating this year is The Time, located on ul. Młyńska in the heart of Poznań.
Known for combining contemporary European cuisine with premium grilled dishes and an impressive wine selection, the restaurant has become one of the city’s leading destinations for modern fine dining.
Chef Dawid Łagowski has developed two distinctive tasting menus.
The first features dishes including:
- Beef carpaccio with Parmesan and truffle mayonnaise
- Spiced fish broth with prawns and udon noodles
- Lamb saddle with truffle purée
- Pike-perch with beurre blanc
The vegetarian-focused alternative menu highlights seasonal produce through colourful tomato tartare, spinach and ricotta ravioli, and quinoa-stuffed cabbage before finishing with a contemporary interpretation of the classic Polish jagodzianka.

Ludowa Bistro Reinvents Polish Classics
For diners looking to explore modern Polish cuisine, Ludowa Bistro offers a fresh interpretation of familiar flavours.
Situated on ul. Juliusza Słowackiego, the neo-bistro celebrates regional ingredients, artisan bread and recipes inspired by traditional home cooking.
Festival guests can expect dishes such as:
- Beef tartare with lovage mayonnaise
- Rabbit leg in a delicate white sauce with potato purée
- Traditional karpatka with gooseberry preserve
The alternative menu continues the nostalgic theme with fermented cucumber essence, handmade leniwe dumplings with smoked cottage cheese and another seasonal take on the beloved karpatka dessert.
Asian Innovation and Contemporary Creativity
Poznań’s culinary diversity is also represented through LOLA Chinese, where Chef Marcin Bartuś combines authentic Asian influences with contemporary fine dining techniques.
Festival dishes include bluefin tuna with lotus root and ponzu, slow-cooked pulled pork with tamarind and ginger, and 24-hour braised beef served with Jerusalem artichoke purée and nameko mushrooms.
Another distinctive participant is American Dream Club, where gastronomy meets art and live music in an imaginative dining environment.
Its festival menu includes salmon with parsnip purée and beurre blanc alongside seasonal asparagus finished with browned butter and pistachios.
