Held every Thursday at 7.30 pm, the free concert series brings together distinguished organists from Poland and abroad to perform in one of the city’s most beautiful historic churches. The series opened on the 2nd of July with a performance by Agnieszka Tarnawska. It will conclude with a special finale featuring Jerzy Kukla performing alongside the Air Force Representative Orchestra, conducted by Bandmaster Lieutenant Colonel Paweł Joks, bringing the summer concert series to a memorable close.

A Landmark of Poznań’s Old Town
Standing just a short walk from the Old Market Square, Poznań Fara is widely regarded as one of Poland’s finest examples of Baroque architecture.
Officially known as the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Mary Magdalene and St Stanislaus, the church was built by the Jesuits during the 17th and early 18th centuries. Construction began in 1651, although work continued for several decades before the magnificent interior was completed.
