Poznań’s multicultural community will take centre stage this July as Hami Nepali Global Poland presents the first Nepal Festival in Poland at Centrum Kultury Zamek. Taking place on Saturday, 11 July 2026, the free event invites residents and visitors to experience the traditions, music, food and hospitality of Nepal without leaving the city.
Running from 11:45 am until 6:45 pm, the festival promises a vibrant programme celebrating one of South Asia’s most fascinating cultures while encouraging greater understanding between the Nepalese community and the wider public.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a programme filled with traditional Nepalese dance and live music performances, showcasing customs that have been passed down through generations.
The event will also feature presentations of traditional Nepalese clothing, offering insight into the history and symbolism behind garments worn across different regions of the country.
Alongside the cultural performances, guests can learn more about Nepal as a travel destination through tourism presentations highlighting the country’s Himalayan landscapes, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, ancient temples and rich cultural heritage.
For many attendees, the festival will provide a rare opportunity to experience authentic Nepalese traditions first-hand in the heart of Poznań.

The Nepal Festival has been organised by Hami Nepali Global Poland with the support of representatives from the Shanti Shrestha Institute.
The organising committee includes Institute President Suman Kumar Rai, Councillor Ram Kumar Shrestha and Treasurer Devendra Kumar Rai.
Coordination is also supported by Hami Nepali Global Global President Amrit Lama together with Ran Bahadur Saud, President of the organisation’s German branch.
Their collaboration reflects the international reach of the Nepalese community across Europe and its commitment to promoting Nepalese culture through educational and community events.
