BitterSweet Festival is not just another music event—it’s an experience, a journey that blends nostalgia with modernity, emotions with unforgettable moments. Taking place from 14–16 August 2025 in Poznań’s stunning Park Cytadela, this three-day festival will bring together global superstars, rising talents, and over 40 incredible artists across three stages. More than just music, BitterSweet is about connection, creativity, and living in the moment—a festival where you don’t just listen, you feel.
More Than a Festival – A Year-Long Experience
Imagine a festival that doesn’t just last for three days but stays with you all year. BitterSweet Festival 2025, set to take place from 14–16 August in Park Cytadela, Poznań, is not just another music event. It’s an immersive journey, a celebration of music, emotions, and unforgettable connections. With three stages, over 40 artists, and a global lineup, this festival promises to be a highlight of the summer.
But what sets BitterSweet apart? It’s about nostalgia meeting modernity, about embracing the present moment while creating memories that will last forever.
BitterSweet isn’t just about hearing music—it’s about feeling it, living it, and sharing it.
Says one of the festival’s organisers.
A Star-Studded Lineup
BitterSweet Festival 2025 has already announced a lineup that blends global superstars, nostalgic icons, and cutting-edge artists. Here are some of the biggest names set to perform:
- Post Malone (15 August) – The genre-blurring American superstar behind hits like “Circles” and “Sunflower”. Expect a raw, emotional, and high-energy performance from one of the most influential artists of the decade.
- Empire of the Sun (15 August) – The Australian electronic duo famous for their futuristic visuals and anthems like “Walking on a Dream”. Their live shows are a surreal mix of theatrical performance and euphoric music.
- Nelly Furtado (14 August) – A true 2000s icon, bringing her timeless pop hits and fresh new material to Poznań. It’s been 17 years since she last performed in the city, making this a must-see return!
- Hurts (16 August) – The melancholic yet electrifying British duo, marking 15 years of their hit “Wonderful Life”. Their music is pure bittersweet magic, making them the perfect fit for the festival.
- Taco Hemingway (16 August) – The most influential rapper in Poland, performing his only festival show of 2025. His lyrics capture the essence of a generation navigating dreams and reality.
Other highlights include:
- Rag’n’Bone Man – The bluesy, soulful voice behind “Human” and “Giant”.
- Melanie C (DJ Set) – Spice Girls’ very own Sporty Spice will bring a mix of nostalgia and club energy.
- Salvatore Ganacci – Known for his wild performances and viral music videos.
- Ella Eyre – The soulful powerhouse with drum & bass-infused anthems.
- Jann – One of Poland’s fastest-rising artists, bringing fresh energy and charisma.
With so many diverse acts, there’s something for everyone—whether you crave pop nostalgia, rap storytelling, or electronic beats.
Park Cytadela: The Perfect Festival Venue
Poznań’s Park Cytadela is more than just a beautiful green space. It’s the heart of the city, where history meets nature. For one weekend in August, as BitterSweet Festival takes place, it will transform into an epic festival landscape.
Originally a military fortress, Cytadela is now a vast park with open-air art installations, walking trails, and breathtaking viewpoints. Its natural acoustics, spacious greenery, and city-centre location make it a dream setting for a festival.
Cytadela is a place of contrasts—just like BitterSweet. It’s peaceful yet full of life, historic yet constantly evolving. It’s the ideal space to bring music, art, and people together.
Says festival co-organiser Marta Kowalska.
With easy access from Poznań’s Old Town, train station, and airport, Cytadela is perfectly located for both local and international festival-goers.

More Than Just Music – A Festival With a Mission
BitterSweet Festival isn’t just about entertainment—it stands for values that matter. Partnering with SEXEDPL and UNAWEZA (Project MŁODE GŁOWY), the festival promotes mental health awareness, self-expression, and social inclusivity.
Attendees can engage in workshops, discussions, and artistic installations focused on well-being and creativity.
In a world that’s always online, we want to create a space where people can be fully present.
