Dawid Kwiatkowski To Close #Nafalach Summer Concert Series at Malta Tonight

Poznań’s summer #NaFalach concert series comes to an end tonight with a performance from Dawid Kwiatkowski at Polana Harcerza beside Lake Malta.

The concert is free to attend and follows the opening ceremony of the 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships, which begin in Poznań on Wednesday. The championships will run at the Malta Regatta Course from 26 to 30 August.

The evening gets under way at 18:00, when the official opening ceremony for the championships takes place at Polana Harcerza. Kwiatkowski is scheduled to take the stage at 20:00, following the ceremony.

A return to Poznań for Dawid Kwiatkowski

For Kwiatkowski, tonight's appearance is a return to a venue and city where he already has a strong connection with summer outdoor concerts.

Three years ago, he performed as part of #NaFalach at Lake Strzeszynek, drawing a large crowd. This time, the setting moves across the city to Malta, where the singer will provide the musical finale to this year's series.

The 2026 edition of #NaFalach has brought a varied line-up to Poznań, with concerts at Strzeszynek from Oskar Cyms, Mery Spolsky, Roxie Węgiel and Livka, as well as Po Prostu Kajtek, Boron and Zippy Ogar. Kwiatkowski's Malta performance is the final date in this year's programme.

Free concert at Polana Harcerza

There is no ticket charge for tonight's event. The official programme lists Kwiatkowski's performance from 20:00, with the event expected to run until around 22:30.

For those planning to attend, the concert area is at Polana Harcerza on the Malta side of Poznań, with entry from ul. Baraniaka. Organisers have also provided a dedicated accessible area close to the stage, with accessible toilet facilities and assistance available during the concert.

The location should also make the evening particularly lively, as thousands of visitors, athletes and supporters gather in the Malta area for the start of the world championships.

From summer concerts to world-class canoeing

Tonight's event marks an unusual crossover for Poznań's cultural and sporting calendars.

The 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships officially begin on 26 August at the Malta Regatta Course, bringing leading canoe sprint and paracanoe athletes to the city. Competition continues until 30 August.

With the opening ceremony and free concert taking place on the eve of the first races, Malta will effectively become the meeting point for Poznań's summer entertainment and international sporting programme.

The event is also a chance to experience one of the city's major sporting events before the racing begins, while visitors arriving for the championships will get an introduction to Poznań through one of its established summer concert traditions.
