Discover five Poznań restaurant debuts at RestaurantWeek® 2026, from Indian and Punjabi cooking to wine-led dining and modern bistro favourites.MineWine Bistro & WineBar

RestaurantWeek® is still running until 25th November 2026, with specially created menus and restaurants that are making their festival debut.

Here are five new names worth discovering.

MineWine Bistro & Wine Bar: Where the wine came first

Some restaurants begin with a chef and a menu. MineWine took a different route.

The story started in 2022 in Zalasewo, where MineWine opened as a wine shop and wine bar, complete with a tasting space for around 20 guests. As its popularity grew, visitors began asking a straightforward question: where could they enjoy something to eat alongside their wine?

The answer was conveniently close. The team eventually took over the neighbouring restaurant space, creating MineWine Bistro & Wine Bar.

The concept is the work of Sławek Komiński, Zuza Pietrzak and Chef Antoni Świrepo. For Sławek, the location has a personal connection. Born in Swarzędz and living in Zalasewo, he has known the area for years and opened his first MineWine back in 2009.

As the team explains, the idea behind the bistro is to create somewhere:

"Close to our home, our guests and the story we have been building here for over a dozen years."

The RestaurantWeek® menu offers a taste of the kitchen's approach, with dishes including chicken liver pâté with thyme crumble, pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce, Brussels sprouts and roasted potatoes, followed by baked apples with crumble topping.

Asiatico Restaurant: Family recipes with roots in India

Located inside Hotel Moderno on Kolejowa Street, close to the Poznań International Fair grounds, Asiatico Restaurant brings Indian culinary traditions to a contemporary restaurant setting.

At the centre of the kitchen is Chef Maneesh Kotala, whose introduction to cooking came from spending time alongside his grandmother in India. Her recipes and knowledge of balancing spices continue to influence the restaurant's menu.

There is also a memorable story behind the opening. While developing the menu, Chef Maneesh prepared what he considered a mild version of a traditional sauce. The result proved rather more challenging for the Polish team than expected, with the first tasting reportedly bringing tears to everyone's eyes.

The spice levels have since been adjusted to suit local tastes, while the kitchen has retained the depth of flavour and aromas that define the original recipes.

The restaurant's philosophy is perhaps best expressed by its team:

"The most beautiful story is hidden in the dishes themselves. All the flavours Chef Maneesh presents on the plates come directly from his family home. The festival is a perfect opportunity to try Asian classics, prepared without compromise, in a modern and elegant setting."

Festival guests can expect dishes such as Devil's Chicken, featuring chicken with chilli and soy sauce served with rice, alongside a green coconut curry with tofu, courgette, mushrooms and basil.

Yummy Punjaby: A taste of Punjab in the city centre

Yummy Punjaby may already be familiar to regular visitors to Poznań's city centre, but this year marks its first appearance at the festival.

The restaurant was founded around a love of authentic Punjabi flavours and the idea of creating a welcoming place where Indian heritage and Polish hospitality could meet.

Its team describes the concept as a combination of Indian roots and life in Poland, reflecting the growing interest among Poznań residents in discovering Indian food.

"Yummy Punjaby is a combination of Indian roots and life in Poland. Over the years, we have watched Poznań residents become increasingly interested in discovering Indian cuisine, and our restaurant has become a meeting place for two cultures. RestaurantWeek® is a great opportunity to introduce a wider audience to the variety of our menu."

Two separate festival menus have been prepared, one featuring meat dishes and the other vegetarian options.

Expect traditional tandoor cooking, fresh paneer and a selection of Indian flavours. Desserts also have a place in the spotlight, including carrot halwa with cardamom and nuts, as well as creamy rice pudding with a hint of saffron.

Two more names for your restaurant list

The festival's Poznań programme also includes two other first time participating restaurants worth noting.

Noce i Dnie is putting a contemporary spin on a familiar favourite with its Chicken Schnitzel. The dish features chicken coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs, served with romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing and Pecorino Romano.

At Noko Kitchen, the festival menu takes inspiration from Asian flavours. One of the featured dishes is chicken with cashew nuts and vegetables in a light sauce, served with a fried egg and rice.

Together, these five restaurants offer quite a range of dining experiences, from wine-focused bistro cooking to Indian family recipes and contemporary Asian-inspired dishes.

RestaurantWeek® Poznań 2026: Dates, prices and reservations

RestaurantWeek® runs in Poznań until 25th November 2026.

Participating restaurants are preparing specially created three-course menus, accompanied by a festival gift for guests.
