International BBQ on the Warta Brings Poznań’s English-Speaking Community Together

Looking for something different to do this weekend? English Wizards is bringing together locals, expats and international residents for a relaxed community barbecue on the Warta riverside, complete with food, conversation and riverside views.

If you’re looking to meet new people while enjoying a summer afternoon outdoors, English Wizards is hosting an international barbecue on the Warta riverside this Saturday.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re an expat, a local resident, new to Poznań or simply looking to spend time with an English-speaking community.

The idea is simple. Bring your own food for the grill and an Australian grill master will cook it for you. Drinks are available from nearby Warto Beach Bar, while wood-fired pizza can be found just a short walk away. Families are also catered for, with inflatable play castles for children, plenty of shade and nearby toilet facilities.

The gathering also marks the launch of Poznań Language Events, a new English-friendly community events board from English Wizards designed to help people discover language and international events across the city.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and enough food for themselves. A contribution of 5 PLN per person helps cover the use of the barbecue.
