Lato z Estradą returns from 7 July 2026 with free concerts, theatre, workshops, outdoor cinema and family activities across 16 Poznań neighbourhoods.
Poznań’s much-loved summer cultural programme returns on Tuesday, 7th of July, as Lato z Estradą celebrates its tenth anniversary with another season of free performances, concerts, workshops and outdoor cinema across the city.
Running throughout the summer, the programme will visit 16 neighbourhoods and more than 20 locations, continuing a decade-long mission to make culture accessible within local communities rather than concentrating events solely in the city centre. Organised by Estrada Poznańska, this year’s edition carries the theme “Pełne poruszenie” (Full of Movement), encouraging residents to discover art through movement, creativity and shared experiences.
Ten years of neighbourhood culture
Since its launch, Lato z Estradą has become one of Poznań’s defining summer traditions. According to organisers, the festival has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors to more than 1,000 free events over the past decade, ranging from outdoor cinema and live music to theatre performances, family workshops and community picnics.
Rather than asking residents to travel across the city, the programme brings culture directly into parks, green spaces and neighbourhood squares, strengthening local identity while encouraging neighbours to spend time together.
Festival Director Małgorzata Kempa says the anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on the project’s original vision of making culture an everyday part of life in Poznań’s communities.
A programme designed to get people moving
This year’s “Full of Movement” theme goes beyond physical activity.

Opening day begins in Park Władysława Czarneckiego
The 2026 edition officially opens on the 7th of July in Park Władysława Czarneckiego on Nowe Winogrady Południe, with an afternoon designed for visitors of all ages.
Highlights include:
Eco-mobile creative workshop
Artist Olga Strizhniova will lead “Eco-mobile”, a one-hour workshop for children aged five and above.
Participants will create hanging mobiles using leaves and natural materials while discovering the work of American sculptor Alexander Calder, whose kinetic sculptures inspired the activity.
Community screen-printing studio
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own plain T-shirts or tote bags to the Sitko screen-printing stand, where festival artwork will be printed live throughout the session.
The activity is suitable for all ages and offers a chance to take home a unique souvenir from the festival.
Klawo live in concert
The opening evening concludes with a performance by Gdańsk six-piece Klawo, widely recognised as one of Poland’s most exciting emerging alternative bands.
Blending 1970s funk, soul, fusion, psychedelic influences, jazz, indie music and electronics, the group has earned praise for energetic performances that encourage audiences to dance while embracing the festival’s outdoor atmosphere.
