This year’s fair promises to be the biggest and most engaging yet, featuring over 130 exhibitors, workshops, concerts, and a vibrant atmosphere that invites art enthusiasts, families, and curious visitors alike to experience something extraordinary.
From handcrafted jewellery to innovative ceramics, thought-provoking paintings, and stunning photography, the fair is an ideal destination to discover unique gifts or add a personal touch to your living space. With free admission, it is a perfect weekend activity for everyone, from seasoned collectors to those simply exploring the artistic world for the first time.
A Creative Celebration: What to Expect
The Student Art Fair is not just about browsing art. It is a full-day celebration designed to immerse visitors in creativity. Spread across buildings A, B, and H of the UAP campus, the event offers something for everyone:
- Exhibitions and Stalls: With 16 categories of art represented—including posters, textiles, and design—attendees will find a treasure trove of creative expression. Each stall reflects the passion and innovation of emerging artists, who are either current students or alumni who graduated within the past five years.
- Workshops for All Ages: Visitors can dive into interactive workshops, such as creating Christmas Air Mobiles or attending a creative session for children based on the picture book Smokopsy.
- Live Performances: Music lovers can enjoy concerts by Maciej Obst and Bartek Dreczko, set to enhance the artistic atmosphere.
- Food and Relaxation Zones: Art meets indulgence with coffee and desserts available at Lama.To.Go and a food truck serving warm snacks on the courtyard. Visitors can also unwind in a chillout zone furnished by Śliwocki Home.
For those seeking a quieter experience, the event offers a silent hour from 16:00 to 17:00, allowing high-sensitivity visitors to explore the fair in a calm, serene environment.

A Look at the University
The Student Art Fair is hosted by the University of the Arts in Poznań, a prestigious institution with over a century of history. Founded in 1919 as a decorative arts school, it has evolved into one of Poland’s most significant artistic hubs. Renamed after Magdalena Abakanowicz, a globally renowned artist and long-time faculty member, the university continues to inspire the next generation of artists.
The UAP offers 12 programmes across disciplines such as animation, interior design, painting, and sculpture. Students have access to cutting-edge facilities, including state-of-the-art film studios and photography labs, while benefiting from the university’s international connections. Partnering with nearly 60 universities worldwide, including institutions in the US, Japan, and Israel, the UAP provides a global stage for its students.
The university’s commitment to interdisciplinary education is evident in its 143 workshops, which allow students to explore multiple mediums. The institution also operates its own art galleries, further integrating theory and practice into daily life.
Why This Fair Stands Out
What sets the Student Art Fair apart is its non-commercial ethos. Alongside the physical fair, the event introduces an online catalogue showcasing the exhibitors’ works in a digital format, ensuring accessibility for all. Moreover, the fair embodies a sense of community. This year’s charity booth will support local animal shelters by raising funds to make harnesses, leashes, and warm blankets for dogs in need.
The fair is a remarkable opportunity not only to witness young talent but also to support it. Exhibitors receive exposure to over 2,000 visitors, from casual attendees to potential buyers, giving them a platform to promote and sell their art.
