#NaFalach 2025: Free Lakeside Concerts Are Back!

Sunset skies, live music, and the gentle breeze off the lake – sounds like the perfect summer evening, right? This year, #NaFalach 2025 returns to Lake Strzeszyńskie with four free concerts that promise all that and more. From indie beats to pop anthems, it’s a lakeside tradition that turns warm nights into unforgettable memories. Here’s everything you need to know before you pack a blanket and head out.

Your perfect summer nights in Poznań

When the sun begins to linger longer in the sky and warm evenings become the norm, Poznań residents know exactly where to head: the shores of Lake Strzeszyńskie. That’s where #NaFalach 2025 will be setting up its stage once again, offering four unforgettable nights of live music – all completely free of charge. What started as a modest city project has now become a must-attend summer tradition, bringing together people of all ages and music tastes.

Music by the Water Since 2018

#NaFalach (which means “On the Waves”) has been part of Poznań’s summer rhythm since 2018, evolving from earlier festivals like Żywiec Miejskie Granie and Maltańska Scena Muzyczna. Now firmly rooted at Lake Strzeszyńskie, it’s not just a series of concerts – it’s a community ritual, with picnics on the grass, kids dancing barefoot, and music floating over the water.

The #NaFalach series is a permanent fixture in our city’s summer cultural calendar. Concerts at Lake Strzeszyńskie attract crowds every year, regardless of age or musical preferences.

says Jacek Jaśkowiak, Mayor of Poznań.

Organised by the City of Poznań and POSiR (Poznań Sports and Recreation Centres), with support from Radio Afera, #NaFalach 2025 takes place over two weekends: 20–21 June and 8–9 August.

Who’s Playing at #NaFalach 2025?

20 June – The Dumplings (20:00): The #NaFalach 2025 festival kicks off with the beloved electropop duo, The Dumplings. After a break, Justyna Święs and Kuba Karaś are back, and fans can expect favourites like “Kocham być z Tobą” and “Betonowy Las.” Their dreamy synths and catchy beats are perfect for a breezy summer evening by the lake.

21 June – Błażej Król & Kathia (20:00): Friday’s soft energy gives way to a double-bill on Saturday. Błażej Król brings poetic lyrics and electronic textures, drawing from his eight solo albums. Known for tracks like “Te smaki i zapachy” and “Druga pomoc,” his work blends introspection with groove. Opening the night is Kathia – a rising star from Poznań. With powerful vocals and raw emotional honesty, she won Empik’s Music Discovery of the Year in 2023. Her recent singles “Stój” and “Rosa” show her growing artistic voice, and hearing her perform in her hometown promises to be something special.

8 August – Cleo (20:00): Pop powerhouse Cleo lights up the August stage with hits like “Za krokiem krok” and “My Słowianie.” Her shows are bold, fun, and full of colour – expect a party atmosphere that gets everyone dancing.

9 August – Hubert. (20:00): Closing the #NaFalach 2025 concert series is the mellow, genre-blending sound of Hubert. With songs like “cotton Candy” and “święty spokój,” his music is introspective yet catchy, a perfect way to ease out of summer with a smile and a sigh.

Getting to Lake Strzeszyńskie (and What to Know)

Getting to the #NaFalach 2025 concerts is easy and part of the charm. From the city centre, take bus 835 from Ogrody straight to the lake – about 15–20 minutes. Cycling is a great option too; shaded bike paths from Sołacz or Piątkowo make for a peaceful ride. If you’re driving, head to ul. Koszalińska 15 – there’s paid parking nearby, but it fills up quickly on concert nights, so come early or carpool if you can.

What to bring? A picnic blanket or fold-up chair, something warm for after sunset, and your good mood. The vibe is relaxed and family-friendly. Dogs on leads are welcome too. Toilets (including portable ones) are available, and everything’s set up to make your evening as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Come casual, come curious – it’s summer the way it should be.

Why It’s More Than Just a Concert

Lake Strzeszyńskie is a destination in itself. In summer, it becomes Poznań’s go-to spot for a quick swim, with lifeguarded bathing areas and soft sandy beaches. There are walking and cycling trails around the lake, a few cosy cafes and kiosks for snacks or cold drinks, and even an outdoor art gallery – the Strzeszyn Sculpture Park.

For those feeling active, there’s plenty on offer: a new pier, a water sports rental hub, an outdoor gym, and courts for basketball and beach volleyball. If you’re more in the mood to kick back, you can grab something tasty from several nearby food spots. These include a sit-down lakeside restaurant, a seasonal ice cream stall, a snack bar with both hot and cold options, and a chilled garden bar that opens in the summer.

In response to popular demand, a designated BBQ area was added in late 2018, making it easy and safe to enjoy a cookout with friends or family. Public toilets were also renovated that same year and supplemented with additional portable units during peak season.

Families can enjoy playgrounds and shady picnic spots, and dogs are welcome too (just stick to the leash rules). You could easily spend the whole day there before the music starts.
