From a celebration of Poland’s royal roots to chart-topping music and eco-conscious workshops—this year’s Piknik na FEST 2025 promises to be a vibrant, intergenerational gathering in the heart of Poznań’s greenest oasis.Whether you’re a fan of legendary rock, pop sensations, or simply looking to enjoy a wholesome day out with family and friends, this festival delivers something for everyone.
A Day to Celebrate Who We Are – Together
At its core, Piknik na FEST 2025 is more than a music festival. It’s a celebration of identity, legacy, and shared experience. Now in its third edition, this regional festivity has firmly established itself as an event that brings together the people of Wielkopolska (Greater Poland), blending entertainment with education and civic pride. This year, the central theme is particularly meaningful: the 1000th anniversary of the coronation of Poland’s first kings—a moment that symbolises the birth of Polish statehood. The event aims not only to honour this historical milestone, but also to showcase how much the region of Wielkopolska has contributed to the country’s political and cultural foundations.
Taking place in two locations—Poznań on 7 June and Konin on 14 June—the festival is hosted by the Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Wielkopolskiego (Marshal’s Office of Greater Poland Regio) with Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region, headed by Marek Woźniak, who describes the occasion as a “joyful and proud gathering”.
Let’s be together at Piknik na FEST!, to show that we’re proud of Wielkopolska.
says Woźniak.
What’s Happening and Where?
Poznań’s part of Piknik na FEST 2025 will unfold on the verdant lawns of Park Cytadela, next to the iconic Peace Bell, on Saturday 7 June 2025. Entry is free, and festivities kick off at 12:00 PM, offering plenty of time to explore the interactive zones and relax in the open air before the main stage lights up at around 5:30 PM.
The music performances continue into the evening, promising an unforgettable soundtrack to a day of discovery and connection. A week later, the festival travels east to Konin’s Błonia Konińskie, where the fun starts again.

Not Just a Concert – Explore the Thematic Zones
The Piknik na FEST 2025 offers far more than just music. A central feature of the event is the Miasteczko Samorządowe(Self-Government Village), a space where attendees can learn how regional institutions—from hospitals and museums to transport services—contribute to everyday life in Wielkopolska.
There are three themed zones within this civic hub:
- The Historical Zone: Spotlighting the 1000-year anniversary of King Bolesław I’s coronation. Expect immersive experiences that will take you back to medieval times, including reenactments and hands-on heritage crafts.
- The Uprising Zone: Dedicated to the 1918–1919 Greater Poland Uprising, here visitors can support the building of the new Museum of the Greater Poland Uprising by buying symbolic bricks and learning about one of Poland’s most successful insurrections.
- The Eco Zone: A forward-looking space with engaging workshops on sustainable living, environmental protection, and green innovation.
We also want to talk about what the Greater Poland self-government does on a daily basis—how it serves all residents.
explains Woźniak.
Family Fun and Foodie Delights
At Piknik na FEST 2025, there’s no shortage of entertainment for younger guests. A Children’s Area will offer everything from inflatable playgrounds and soap bubbles to creative workshops and sporting challenges. Older attendees can unwind in the chill-out zones, enjoy the shade, and take part in wellness consultations or health screenings offered on-site.
When hunger strikes, a catering area packed with food trucks will serve a variety of dishes—from regional delicacies to international street food. Whether you’re craving pierogi or tacos, there’s something to delight every palate.
