Summer Taste Market Returns to Malta for Its Final Two Weekends

There are still two weekends left to enjoy the Summer Taste Market at Malta, bringing food, coffee, crafts, music and family activities to Trybuna Ziemna in Poznań.

The market returns on 12–13 September and 26–27 September, giving residents another chance to make the most of the late-summer atmosphere beside Malta Lake. The event is designed as a relaxed outdoor meeting place, combining food stalls and local producers with activities for children and adults.

A weekend of food, coffee and local products

Food is at the centre of the Summer Taste Market, with a breakfast area offering dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world, alongside coffee, freshly baked goods and sweets.

Visitors can also browse a gastro zone featuring street food and original dishes, while local producers will be selling regional products.

For those looking for something beyond food, the market also includes a craft and design area. Independent creators and designers will bring handmade and original products, making it a chance to discover something locally made while spending time outdoors.

Plenty for families to do

The market is intended to be an easy-going destination for families as well as groups of friends.

A dedicated Kids Zone will provide activities for younger visitors, with creative sessions and other attractions planned throughout the weekends.

Adults can take part in activities including yoga, pilates and stretching, alongside creative workshops and sessions focused on health, relaxation and personal development.

Music will also form part of the programme, with a short live concert or relaxing music planned as part of the weekend atmosphere.

Trybuna Ziemna and Malta as the backdrop

The choice of Trybuna Ziemna gives the event an unmistakably Poznań setting. Rather than taking place inside a shopping centre or conventional event hall, the market uses an open-air space beside one of the city's best-known recreational areas.

The organisers are planning a picnic-style atmosphere, with blankets, music and places to relax. It is intended to be somewhere visitors can combine breakfast or lunch with a stroll around Malta, meet friends, browse the stalls or simply spend a few hours outside.

For people living in Poznań, that makes the market particularly easy to fit into a September weekend, whether the plan is a morning coffee, a family outing or an afternoon of food and music.

When to visit

The final two Summer Taste Market weekends are:

  • 12–13 September 2026

  • 26–27 September 2026

  • Saturday: 09:00–18:00

  • Sunday: 10:00–17:00

  • Location: Trybuna Ziemna, Malta, Poznań

The September dates offer one of the last opportunities of the season to enjoy this particular combination of outdoor dining, local shopping and activities around Malta.

With food to discover, independent makers to browse and activities for different ages, the Summer Taste Market is a straightforward way to spend part of a September weekend in the city.
