A Look Back
Over the past eight editions, Cały Poznań Ukulele has become a staple in the European music festival scene. From its humble beginnings, it has evolved into a vibrant gathering that showcases the versatility of the ukulele. Past festivals have featured a mix of local talents and international stars, creating a diverse and inclusive atmosphere that resonates with attendees year after year. The iconic sound of ukuleles ringing out from Poznań’s Plac Wolności has become a summer tradition for thousands. Get ready for Cały Poznań Ukulele 2025 with us!


2025 Highlights
The Cały Poznań Ukulele 2025 festival promises an exciting lineup of events and performances:
- Thursday, 5 June: The festivities begin in the intimate setting of Klub Muchos (ul. Nowowiejskiego 13/15), with performances by Polish artist Marek Gordziej and his atmospheric “Mars” project, the genre-blending Ronja Maltzahn from Germany, and the lively British trio The Secrets.
- Friday, 6 June: From 17:00, the festival takes over Plac Wolności, unveiling its central festival village. Visitors can enjoy open-air concerts, dance along to Polynesian rhythms, and explore creative zones. Highlights include Ranko Ukulele from Poznań, the dynamic Dublin Ukulele Collective, and a stunning Polynesian dance session led by Avei Varu and Hinatea.
- Saturday, 7 June: A beloved tradition continues at 12:00, when PPNOU (Pierwsza Poznańska Niesymfoniczna Orkiestra Ukulele – First Poznań Non-Symphonic Ukulele Orchestra) performs the bugle call from the Town Hall tower. From 13:00, the music-filled square hosts acts like UKITAS, Marc Gallagher, Rita Braga, and the sensational Taimane Gardner.
- Sunday, 8 June: The grand finale of Cały Poznań Ukulele 2025 includes the “Uku in the Opera” project, blending classical arrangements with ukulele flair. Starring tenor Mikołaj Adamczak and the Sopranissimo ensemble, it promises a moving and memorable close to the festival.

Artists to Watch
Taimane Gardner, the Hawaiian ukulele virtuoso, is known for her intense stage presence and intricate compositions that she’ll bring to the Cały Poznań Ukulele 2025. She blends flamenco, classical, and rock elements with island spirit, creating a spellbinding musical journey and making her Poznań set a rare and thrilling European highlight.
Ronja Maltzahn, the “blue-haired globetrotter” from Germany, brings a captivating mix of languages and instruments. Her music intertwines cello, ukulele, and synths, forming poetic soundscapes that reflect her travels and passion for artistic storytelling.
The Dublin Ukulele Collective adds vibrant energy to the festival. This 30-member Irish ensemble is famous for its spirited harmonies and genre-blending setlists that turn any space into a celebratory singalong.
Poznań’s own Ranko Ukulele charms with her mix of gentle melodies, playful lyrics, and an expressive stage presence. A staple of the local scene, she’s a warm and welcome favourite at the Cały Poznań Ukulele 2025.
Marc Gallagher from the UK balances skilled musicianship with engaging humour. His original songs and clever covers, along with his lively workshop style, make him a standout both on and off stage.
Finally, PPNOU – the First Poznań Non-Symphonic Ukulele Orchestra – remains the heart of the event. Known for joyful, unorthodox arrangements, this homegrown ensemble bookends the festival with local pride and musical delight.
